good morning!!

good morning all!! i thought i'd come and do this real early, otherwise i get stuck in stuff and then i never get a chance to tell the masses what's happening in my very exciting life!!
so, last night the power was out and i was in bed by 8!! exciting hey!! no really it was great!! Matyn had dancing, so she was in town with Shawn and the littilees and i had fun at home!! i tell you candles just make a mood!! Even the mood for story reading and tickling!! and i tell you it is just more fun going to the loo with 2 babies following you than to go at it alone!! and after shawn and matyn came home, shawn took out his guitar, we all played and it was really great!! we enjoyed it so much! i love not having electricity, except for the whole no-coffee thing!! i love coffee more than candle mood!!
anyway, now i'm trying to sort out my photo printer, 'cause i am still to do the scrapbook pages of Youth camp!! yeah, the one from like 2 months ago!!

hey there.. well the weekend is over and it was SO way to short, but in the words of one of our cel memebers.. Cell makes Mondays weekend!!! yes, that's right!! we have cel on mondays and it really does make the weekend feel just that little bit longer! tonight Shawn wants to watch some of DR DINO he just loves it so much!! and i have to say, i do too!

for tonight we have to learn Psl 25:4-6 and it is truelly beautiful!!

Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do i wait [expectantly] all the day long. Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercy and loving-kindness; for they have been ever from of old.

she's getting so big

well, the girl is really getting big now!! Last night she went through her cubourd and got out some clothes that are to small for her, and to my shock all of it was all the clothes that we bought her just a few months ago!! just at the begining of the winter!!

so, now her dear friend Kristy has a bunch of stuff that she just loves!! and matyn is butt naked... and she is tall, beautiful and now has her own e-mail address!!

but the only reason is 'cause all the mail also comes to my box!! love it i do!!

so, pray for us!! she's getting so big!!

a good laugh with a good friend is the cure for many things:

needless to say, i have needed a good laugh the last few days!!

and then it's my dear friend and only reader's birthday today!!!!! happy happy birthday my friend erika!!! my wish for you today is a totally PMS free day!!Can you beleive i only found a pick of her with her mom!! my bad!!!! love you!!

i'm still here

it's only been 2 days with no blogging!! and what amazing days they have been!!
God's been great, He has been giving me fresh new Word to share with my cel and with the youth cel tonight and He has build me up when i've felt down, He has given me reasons to hope when hope seemed unavailable!!
and right now you're thinking - wow, isn't that just amazing!! She is so blessed to hear God's voice and see God doing all these amazing things for her!!.... well, think again!!
let me inform you, if God needs to do so much in 2 days, you can only begin to imagine what the devil's been up to!!!!!!
my patience level is at an all time low, i think i'm opperating on a -12! and then of coars at cel on Monday i got to keep the patience paper till next week!! (we swop out pictures of the fruit of the spirit and then you need to focus on those for the week) so, my word for my cel was something about ANGER!!! about how not to do it!! and here i am.. at work with DAGAN and Matyn.. being tested, tested, tested!! remember last time i said, never again!! well, i fell for it again!! he's here, again!! building his little puzzel, and just talking my head off!! and Matyn has come back from 4 weeks holiday and has lost the ability to do her school work.. and then my adorable husband unpacked my laptop at home, didn't tell me, and i had to go all the way home to fetch it!! he also appoligized - NOT!!! and there are other people giving me greef about all kinds of things and sommer just making me cry!! oh my, oh my, oh my!!!
so here it is, the endless ramblings of a frustrated woman!!!
And then God says:
Phil 2:13-14 [Not in your own strength] For it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energising and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [amongst yourselves]
I so complained against God last night!!! and then i went home and watched joyce meyer speaking about how complication steals your joy!! i almost woke up the whole household with my AMEN SISTER!!

Remember that song!! i'm singing it all morning!! i've got joy, joy, joy, joy deep in my heart, deep in my heart, deep in my heart..
so, while i was having my quiet time this morning i was wondering what i'm so happy about. i mean, i can actually name you 10 or more things i'd like to change in my life, on myself, in other people.. just stuff that should, or rather could make me miserable, but still, i've got joy, joy, joy, joy, deep in my heart.. so then i spent some time telling God what i'm thankful for. just the small stuff that seem small. but, to quote a great stuffed animal: "the small things in life tend to be the big things in life" winnie the pooh
so, today here are a few things i'm thankful for:
my husband, my healthy kids, my amplified Bible, my message Bible, my 10 colors pens, my adsl line, my laptop, my friend louise, my digital camera, my house (small but friendly, inviting and safe), my iPod, my cellphone, my cordless phone, the rain, my church, my life.
these are just the top of my head ones, not even the i've-been-thinking-about them ones.. and then i found this scripture, and isn't it amazing!! just read it, close your eyes (after you read it) and let it sink into your soul!!
Psalm 5:11 But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.
Wow, now i know, i'm happy, full of joy, joy, joy, deep in my heart, 'cause He ordained it that way!!

hey everyone!! litteraly one!! joking, thank you erika for reading my blog so dilligently!! wish i could remember to do the spell check thing!! i always mean to, but then i get so excited to publish that i completely forget!! will try again today!! i love these photos of Dagan, Tamar and Marco!! they both wanted to be the one to hold on to Tamar and she's being completely squashed in the middel!! i loved it!! i took as many photos as i could!!

So, i'm listening to this profound teaching.. actually, i'm listening to several!! i'm getting so excited to listen to everything, that i get completely overwhelmed!! so many teachings, so little time!! i mean, a girl has to blog.. anyway, i'm listening to a 4 part series of Joyce Meyer (no way!! you didn't see that one coming, did you) and then there is this AMAZING teaching, called the man behind the mask!! wow! i'm loving it!! it's focused on Daniel 7, so you just guess what it's about!! anyway, i don't know who the speaker is, i got the teaching from Bruno, shawn's brother, he got it from someone... so on and so on and so on!! but it's really good!!

so, off i go, got to go do some Bible study!!

by the way, Matyn's coming home on Sunday!! jipee!! we miss her so much!!

yes, i remembered my camara!! so here are some of the photo's from the weekend!! to bad i don't have any photo's of us standing in the que for up to 4 hours befor every session!! yes, that's right!! up to 4 hours befor the time!! and i have to admit, that was really half of the fun! we laughed, made sinister plans to get the best seats, still lost to some little old lady everytime!! Shawn took out his guitar and we had a killer worship session outside, long befor the doors even opened!! and then, once they opened, it was a mad run to the first rows!! but the wise old lady, had a connection inside, keeping good chairs for them!! told you.. proverbs says.. with gray hair comes wisdom!!

anyway, who all were there you ask,

well, there was Sharon, shawn's sister, her boyfriend, anton, Willem, Kathrine and Jessica, also

Monica, Donald and Ryan and lastly, myself, Shawn, Matyn and guess who, yes, my mom all the way from the Cape

But please don't think it ends there, it's just all the folk i got photo's off!! there were up to 12 000 poeple per session! lot's of tongue talkers as joyce calls herself!!

wow, if you were there, you'd agree that it was amazing and a deffinate must for anyone who has the oppertunity to do it!! if you didn't make it, so sorry!! but i'll tell you little bits of what she said as we go along!!

on a differant note, did you learn the scripture that was on last week, i really hope so, 'cause today i'm putting on a new one and hope you'll learn it with me!! we're learning Zephaniah 3:17 THe Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.

blogging my babes

today i'm just missing them so much it's driving me insane! can't wait to see my kids this weekend

love this pick of tamar!! she was playing with a cup and the dogs water and i kept chasing her out, 'cause she not that good with walking with a full cup in the one hand and her DuduBaby in the other hand! the next time i came out i found her sitting in the dogs water bowl, playing with Baby and the cup!! and matyn just loves to pull a face!! and i love her quite face in this one! and dagan and matyn were testing all the wigs at Game and i just had to get a picky of them!

so, here you have it, my babes that have been away for far to long!! miss you guys like crazy! and the worse part is, that i still won't have Matyn at home for anouther week after this weekend, as she is going away with my mom for one week!! oh, my, don't know if i'll make it!!

Tuesday - the new monday

yeah, my weeks have gotten so very muddled up, that now tuesday is my new monday!! and week is a new month!! so busy, busy, busy!!

This weekend we had the privilage of playing with David Stockwell on his visit to Hoedspruit!! it was so amazing!! God truelly had His hand in that one, 'cause we just went on a friendly visit to Hoedspruit, to repair what was broken on the youth camp, and God used the oppertunity to allow the FABOULOUS youth band to serve the Living Water congrigation in worship. then we were truelly challenged on our walk with God, as David shared about reaching the lost and doing God's will!! it was great.. so great, that we decided to stay on and visit that night at the house were they are staying. we had an amazing time with many of the local churches. we had what can only be described as a feast and was once again challenged by David as to our dedication to the word of God.. and i quote "You should be learning 2 verses of scripture every week.. that's 100 scriptures per year, and that means if you've been serving God for 10 years..." end quote!! let me do the rest in my own words...OUCH!!

so, here i am again Lord!! help me to memorise more of Your word, give me dedication to Your love for the lost and a better understanding of Your character.

Angus Buchan

Angus Buchan is the real man behind Faith Like Patatoes and what an amazing man he is!
he was one of the speakers at this years TCN (The Church Network) Converance that shawn and i had the oppertunity to go to! We left Tzaneen at 3 that morning, so no need to tell you that we were seriously bobbing heads in the afternoon sessions!!! but when that amazing man started to speak it was truelly as if God infused His spirit, His energy, His life into me!! Angus could have spoken all night and i would still not have wanted to leave!!
Next year, 18 - 20 April, there is a Mighty Mens Conference!! i will do everything i can to make sure shawn makes it there with a car full of men!! i'm actually considering cross dressing so that i can also make it!!

My Bad

i've just been having such an amazing time on my other blog!! the J.U.S.T. Ministries one!! it had to have been God's idea, 'cause i'm just finding so much joy in it!!

Today is Willem's birthday and i really want to make a big deal out of it, 'cause he deserves it!!

we are so blessed to have a friend that loves the Lord so much!! his life challenges us, 'cause he is so in love with God and he is only 17!! i am amazed at the stand he takes and the determination he shows in his walk with God!! He truelly worships, with heart and soul, in spirit and in truth!!How blessed we are to know him!! and a great big WELL DONE to his mom and dad, for raising such an amazing son!!

Num 6:24 The LORD bless you and keep you;
Num 6:25 the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
