nostalgic today!!

so today i'm feeling a little nostalgic.. just wish i had an old frilly dress and hat to put on, and sit in a garden somewhere and drink tea from a thin cup. i have a dear friend who just loves a small, thin, porcelain cup..today i feel like that.
around me things are in full rush mode, but in my heart they are settled and calm.
youth camp planing is on the way and i still have oodles to do in the next 2 weeks.. like get the food!! that reminds me, i need to phone a man about some meat...
the children are doing good, dagan and matyn are both watching a puppet show at a local church today, so they are excited.
I'm working and dreaming..

Dagan is 5!!

yes, feels like yesterday that he was only a baby and now, well, now he is a big little boy!!
dagan had a good birthday.. filled with all things sweet, lots of gifts and friends to play with. his day ended, with him almost falling asleep while he was still standing up..

I just love Spur!!! they pack out everything, they provide the games, the trampoline, the clean up crew!!! sounds like a dream.

anyway, my little worrior, go and do that which God has called you for!! go and bring in 'n harvest of plenty and have a ball doing it and serving God!!

we went up to Kings Walden the weekend and i actually remembered to take my camara with me!! so here is what happened!!
i'm so blessed that my family are so photogenic!! they make taking photos so easy!!

matyn!!

she did it.. matyn understood the Word of God and decided to be obediant by letting herself get baptized. Uncle Pieter, the childrens she also received the gift of speaking in tongues the week before. we are so proud of her and can not wait to see what God will do in her life!

please keep her in your prayers, as growing up is not always the easiest thing to do!! she finds herself stuck in the middel of two completely differant worlds and the transgression from the one 'known' world to the completely 'unknown' is challenging for her and for us around her!! so you who love me... spread your love aroun a bit and love her..
