well, matyn received the infilling of the Holy Spirit last night, with the evidence of speaking in tongues.. and we are so excited and happy for her.

God is faithfull if we seek His face.

Mighty Mens Confrence '08

my dear, lekker, husband went to a blessing of a weekend!! he went to the Mighty Mens Confrence!! yes, the one with the guy from the patatoe farm, yes, the one on the front page of the Rapport, yes, the one with the 60 000 dirty men!!

just kidding!! they were dirty, most of them anyway, but what an amazing experiance!! he came back even more eager to talk about what God has done in his life and what he saw God do and, and, and.. for those of you who know shawn, you'll be thinking, is there enough hours in a day for shawn to talk about God even more... and beleive me when i say.. Yes, he has found more hours!!

it's the last week of school holidays!! and although it is busy by us, i still feel so relaxed!! you see, in holidays we play boardgames with friends and we hang out with whomever is around.. and we just have relaxing fun. i still get to do all the mommy stuff, but i love having all our friends over..
next week school term will start again.. then the chaos is back in full swing.. see, then i have to start planning for our next youth camp and i have to plan for cel's and we start homeschooling again.. wonderful, glorious chaos..
so this week i still feel like sticking a flower in my hair, rolling around in long grass and watching the clouds sail by for hours..
i'm loving it!!
now, befor you think i don't like the other stuff, i should clarify!! i do very well under pressure!! i work like a bomb under pressure!! my middle name is pressure!! kidding, my middle name is.. oh, i don' have a middle name.
so, i'm going to go listen to soothing music now, see if my friend is online for a chat and watch the clouds drift by..

winter on the way..

now, i know for all of you who get out of your beds and have the privilege of walking out and seeing snow, this might sound strange.. but i love winter..
i love having to sleep snug under my duvet with my adorable husband, i love not having to put on the aircon in my office, but just opening a window.. i love feeling my runny nose, i love scarfs, hats, gloves, jackets, denims... i just love everything about winter.
i love pancakes, waffles, hot cooked food...
and finally, for the last 2 nights, I've actually been cold!!! and i enjoy it so much!
so, jipeeeeee, winter is coming.. and in Tzaneen, it's like for only a short period, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts..

so, i'm looking into new homeschool curriculum for next year..
for those of you who have been following me around awhile, the question is, or rather should be.. What??? Again??

but see, yesterday morning, during my quiet time, i had this revelation about why did we start doing this thing again.. and what was the main goal and purpose and then the ultimate question.. are we achiving what God set out be4 us?? and i have to hang my head in shame and say, no, i do not feel i'm achiving God's plan with my children.. so there you have the reasoning and now you undersand the search..
so i ran into The Christial Liberty Press and Christian Libirty Books sites and into BJU (Bob Jones University) Wow, wowoowow, i love their books. on the website you can see pictures of the books inside and i really love them.
so here i go, a looking..
