weekends, fun, friends

what an amazing weekend!! we had a great time! Friday Shawn had youth and i spent time at home with Dagan and Tamar, as Matyn likes going with her daddy!! and Willem came to stay over! it was cool!

Saturday we had a meeting with the Shepherding team of our church, where Shawn and i had to give account of the last years youth stuff, how it's going, what we planing for next year, etc.. our dear friend Ane (with a ' on the 'e' but i don't know how to do it!!) looked after our kids while we were away! When we came home, with pizza!! had to be a great day then!! so, i made some scrapbook pages (yes, Wilna, i still scrapbook) and had oodles of fun! I'll post them soon!!

And then came eventful, yet wonderful Sunday!! first i had the privilege to take photo's at my friend Louise's' daughter's baptism!! what a highlight in my week!! and what a highlight in Kristie's life!! we are so proud of her that she is so in love with the word of God. she read about baptism and decided that she needed to get herself baptised!! I was blessed, honoured and all teary eyed to be a part of it!! well done, we are all so proud of you!

And then Shawn decided it is time for us all to go do something fun, so off to the eiland we went! Appreciate the photo of him.. it really doesn't happen very often!! we swam and laughed, Shawn forced all of us to play put-put, so that he could kick our butts!! He can be so thankful that his kids enjoy it to have their butts kicked!!! But it was still great! we all went down the super tube, even Tamar, but only once.. mommies nerves would never hold it!

But, all good things come to an end, and it ended with all the kids looking like angels, fast asleep in the back of the car! it was so funny, 'cause they'll work on each others nerves all day, but they will literally lye on top of each other just to be able to sleep!! and we came home, watched a movie and fell asleep!! good ending to a good weekend!!
